Recently we have received grants from CSX and Walmart to boost our operations in the community. Our department operates entirely on fundraisers, donations, and grants as we do not receive any sort of tax money from the community.

This past Wednesday a young man was working on a house in when he was injured in an accident. He sustained life threatening injuries to his arm while severing several arteries and veins. He was brought to Station 17 while others called 911 seeking assistance from our firefighters.
